Our Managing Partner and Founder, Milind Joshi, attended the 2025 AIPPI World Congress, held from 13–16 September 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama, Japan, representing LexGeneris at one of the world’s leading forums dedicated to the development and advancement of intellectual property law.

Organised by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the Congress brought together intellectual property professionals, industry leaders, academics, judges, policymakers, and in-house counsel from across the globe. Through technical sessions, committee meetings, and networking engagements, the event provided a valuable platform to exchange perspectives on emerging legal developments, international harmonisation, and evolving challenges across patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, and other areas of intellectual property.

A key takeaway from the Congress was the increasing importance of international collaboration in addressing the rapidly evolving intellectual property landscape. Discussions highlighted the growing impact of technological innovation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and cross-border enforcement on the future of IP protection, reinforcing the need for globally informed and commercially practical legal strategies.

Participation in international forums such as the AIPPI World Congress reflects LexGeneris’s continued commitment to remaining at the forefront of global IP developments. By engaging with thought leaders and practitioners worldwide, we strengthen our ability to deliver practical, commercially focused, and internationally informed intellectual property solutions to our clients.
